• Support outreach to natural points of contacts such as public and private schools, WIC, Head Start, community health centers, Native Hawaiian Health Care Systems, other health care providers, family planning clinics, child care centers, and Good Beginnings Alliance playgroups;
• Assist in reaching adolescents, young adults, immigrant children and youths, grandparents raising grandchildren, businesses, labor unions, associations, medical students, hospital emergency rooms, and Native Hawaiians;
• Work with other community groups, such as County Parks and Recreation, The Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii, pharmacies, food banks, food pantries, and immigrant leaders to identify uninsured children and youth; and
• Implement the action plan to enroll 100% of eligible newborns in health insurance programs.
