Major Responsibilities
Identify simplification strategies with the Hawaii State Department of Human Services Med-QUEST Division and design a time frame for accomplishing them. Priorities include:
- Increase the number of complete mail-in applications using outstationed eligibility workers and application assistants;
- Implement the electronic application including acceptance of electronic signatures;
- Help Med-QUEST create education-appropriate forms and instructions;
- Develop methods to improve the renewal process and increase retention rates;
- Follow-up on assessment studies requested by the Evaluation Task Force; and
- Maintain a high quality hotline service through Aloha United Way 211 for accurate information and referrals.
