Hawaii's New FMAP Numbers The amount contributed by the federal government to our Medicaid programs (FMAP) will increase effective 1 October 2002: * regular QUEST and Medicaid FFS = 58.77% * expanded QUEST and Medicaid FFS (CHIP) = 71.14% 4. CHIP Chartbook Now Available The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) has available the 2001 State Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Chartbook. This compilation of CHIP information outlines individual state details on coverage, benefits, and program design. Key issues and program approaches for each state are also outlined.
